Details of ad pricing and placement:
|
| |
|
We calculate the monthly rate for an ad by multiplying Ad Size Rate times the
Number of States or Provinces in which the ad appears.
|
| |
| Ad Size Rate: |
| 728x90 pixels (full width, approximately 1 inch x 9 inches) |
|
$20.00 US or $21.00 Canadian |
| 364x90 pixels (half width, approximately 1 inch x 4.5 inches) |
|
$10.00 US or $10.00 Canadian |
| 182x90 pixels (quarter width, approximately 1 inch x 2.25 inches) |
|
$5.00 US or $5.00 Canadian |
|
| |
| Number of States or Provinces: |
| |
| 1. "Trans-continental Ad" – appears to all visitors in US and Canada before we know a visitor’s location. |
| Multiply Ad Size Rate by 62 (50 states + 12 provinces). |
| |
| 2. "Local Ad" – appears to a visitor in your selected regions after we know the visitor’s location: |
| - All of US (50 states): Multiply Ad Size Rate by 50 |
| - All of Canada (12 provinces): Multiply Ad Size Rate by 12. |
| - Select a local region by specifying a zip or postal code and a radius – Multiply Ad Size Rate by 1. |
|
- Select particular states and provinces by clicking on them on the map – Multiply Ad Size Rate by the number
of states or provinces you select.
|
| |
| |
| Notes |
| - Price for "Trans-continental Ad" does not include any items listed under “Local Ad”. |
|
- Placement of local ads happens on profiles at all times in all cases, because profile pages
contain location information. On pages other than profiles, placement of local ads occurs only
after a visitor enters a location or after a registered user logs in. In determining which local
ads are shown on a profile page, a visitor’s location information takes precedence over the
profile’s location information.
|
|
- All ads on YourEnergyOptions are positioned below the page content, and none are animated.
This policy is intended to make it easy for visitors to find and scan ads consciously, to
optimize the user experience, and to maximize the utility of the website. We believe this
user-considerate approach will increase the number of visitors to our site and thus increase
the value we offer to advertisers.
|
|
- Each sponsored ad section on a page has three “tiers” of ads: At the top: Full Width,
then Half Width, and at the bottom, Quarter Width. Within each tier, ad placement changes
randomly each time the page is refreshed.
