YourEnergyOptions is a website and business created by Lance McKee and his daughters Caitlin and Emily. (Our thanks to Kathy - wife, mother, and teacher - who has been patient with this project.)
We envision a world in which life on Earth is continually enhanced by people becoming ever more efficient in their use, collection, storage, transmission, conversion and buying and selling of non-polluting renewable energy.
Our mission is to
- Help people find information about local clean energy advocates, successes, businesses, events and issues
- Help clean energy advocates provide their communities with news and opportunities for discussion and collaboration
- Help clean energy businesses - especially local businesses - find, inform and serve customers.
By creating profiles on this website, people can help others see what's happening locally. Also, anyone with a clean energy business can create profiles to highlight their company and their successes. Businesses can also buy ads to promote what they do and support what we do.
This website is only a tool for communication. What's most important is that people get together locally to discuss issues, solve problems, inform legislators, start and support small businesses, and help each other take advantage of energy efficiency and clean energy options. We believe such local action is necessary if we are to weather the "perfect storm" of global warming, economic recession, pollution and global security threats associated with increasing demand for the world's limited, dirty and dangerous fossil and nuclear fuels.
